Tarantula Hike

Hike starts promptly at 8am.

Spiders the size of donuts? Where are they going, what are they up to? Hike the hills of Cerrillos Hills State Park to learn about tarantula behavior, life cycle and biology. If we’re lucky, we might encounter one!

Meet at the state park entrance, 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos Village on County Rd 59. October – April, NM Residents enjoy free day use of state parks. (NM license plate or ID required). $10 day use fee year-round for out of state visitors.
