Sleepy Solstice Hike

Hike starts promptly at 10am

Join Park Rangers for a trek through the park and learn about the ways in which animals and plants conserve energy to make it through winter. The hike will conclude with observing the sun at the analemma kiosk to mark the Winter Solstice! 

Meet at the state park entrance, 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos Village on County Rd 59. Hike starts promptly at 10am. Parking is free for New Mexico residents (NM license plate or ID required, October - April). Out of state visitors, bring $10 exact cash or check to pay the parking fee.
