Silent Sunset Hike

Hike starts promptly at 7:30pm, Cerrillos Hills State Park Main Entrance.

Enjoy a silent hike in nature and watch the sunset over the hills. The transition from day to night is a wonderful time to experience the rhythm of nature and to reflect. Silence and whispering are encouraged on this hike to take in the natural silence of the park. Be prepared for hiking in low light conditions.

Meet at the state park entrance, 44 Camino Turquesa, 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos Village on County Rd 59. Parking is free for New Mexico residents (NM license plate or ID required, October - April). Out of state visitors, bring $10 exact cash or check to pay the parking fee.
