Glossy blue above; mainly pale orange below; forehead chestnut; throat deep orange;
tail forked, outer tail streamers very long. Nest open cup of mud pellets/grass.
Inside/under overhang. Fast flier.
Crown, back, wings blue; rump buffy; underparts gray-white; forehead cream; foreneck
chestnut; hindneck gray; tail black, short, square. Flies in circles high, nests
in colonies under buildings, bridges. Especially common at Galisteo River bridges.
Crown, back, forewing green; back neck, flight feathers, mid-rump stripe and tail
dark violet; white underparts continue up behind eye; sides of rump white; tail
short, notched; bill tiny. Flight fluttery. Usually small flocks.
