Vallecitos ("little valleys") was a common place name
in the Cerrillos Hills and elsewhere in New Mexico. This Vallecitos is in the
northern part of the Cerrillos Hills, part of Hungry Gulch. The camp is amazingly
tidy. Was it cleaned up for this photograph, or is it because this camp is very
new, not more than a month or two old?
