This is the arroyo of White Rock Canyon (also know as Elkins Canyon). The dog is
provided for scale. Note the depth of the track between the dog and the bottom of
the photo. It has been about a year since this arroyo has seen flowing water, and
the effect of some hikers, trail bikers, and several groups of horses per day is
obvious.
